Ingredients

  • 16 frozen waffle fries straight-cut or seasoned
  • 1 lb ground beef or chicken seasoned
  • 1 tsp salt & pepper
  • 4 cheese slices cut to fit
  • 8 pickle slices
Sauce (optional)
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise or aioli
  • 2 tbsp ketchup or BBQ sauce

Equipment

  • Air fryer or oven
  • Large skillet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Cook waffle fries according to package, using air fryer or oven until crispy (approx. 12–15 min air‑fryer at 400 °F).
  2. Meanwhile, season and cook ground meat in skillet over medium-high heat, break into small pieces, until browned and cooked through (~8 min). Season with salt & pepper.
  3. To assemble each slider, place one waffle fry as “bottom bun,” top with seasoned meat, a cheese piece, a pickle, sauce, and another waffle fry.
  4. Arrange on baking sheet or air-fryer rack and warm at 350 °F for 3–5 min to melt cheese and heat through.
  5. Serve warm—insert a toothpick to hold together, and enjoy!

Notes

Variations: try adding bacon, jalapeño slices, or swap meat for a plant-based patty. For extra crisp, double-air-fry the fries before assembly. Serve with dipping sauces like ranch, sriracha mayo, or spicy ketchup.
