Ingredients
  

  • 1 chai tea bag (or 1 tsp loose-leaf chai) spiced black tea base
  • 0.5 cup hot water for steeping chai
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree adds creaminess
  • 1 cup milk of choice whole, oat, almond, or soy
  • 0.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice cozy fall flavor
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon extra warmth
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract adds smooth sweetness
  • sweetener of choice maple syrup, honey, or sugar-free option
  • optional toppings whipped cream, cinnamon stick, nutmeg

Method
 

  1. Steep the chai tea bag in ½ cup of hot water for 3–5 minutes. Remove the tea bag.
  2. In a small saucepan, whisk together pumpkin puree, milk, sweetener, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and vanilla. Heat gently until warm but not boiling.
  3. Froth the mixture using a milk frother, blender, or whisk until foamy.
  4. Pour brewed chai into a mug. Add the pumpkin milk mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Optional: top with whipped cream, a cinnamon stick, or a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Notes

Adjust sweetness to taste. For an iced version, let the chai cool, mix with pumpkin milk, and serve over ice.
