A quick and easy twist on the traditional Greek tzatziki. Made with Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic powder, and dried mint — no grating cucumbers required!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (5%) thick and creamy base
  • 1 medium lemon juice or 1–2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil adds richness
  • 0.5 heaping tsp garlic powder quick flavor boost
  • 1 tsp dried mint traditional herby taste
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp milk to thin consistency
  • sriracha (optional) for a spicy kick

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, add Greek yogurt, lemon juice (or vinegar), olive oil, and garlic powder.
  2. Stir in dried mint and a pinch of salt.
  3. Whisk in milk a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning. For heat, stir in a dash of sriracha.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 3 days in a sealed container.

Notes

This shortcut tzatziki is cucumber-free, making it extra quick to prepare. Use as a dip, sandwich spread, or drizzle for grilled meats.
